RENTAL GUIDELINES
Travel Golf Center (US) Inc (“we”, “our”or “TGC”) hereby agrees to sell or rent golf clubs or other golfing equipment to you in accordance with these Rental Guidelines. You may select products to rent and choose a designated delivery location or pick them up from our Scottsdale Meeting Place.
CONDITIONS OF USE
Your Responsibility
You hereby understand that while the golf equipment is in your possession, YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE EQUIPMENT RENTED TO YOU. You are to use the golf equipment for its intended recreational use only and not for any other reason. You shall not remove, alter, disfigure or cover up any numbering, lettering, bar code or insignia displayed upon the equipment, and shall see that the equipment is not subjected to careless, unusually or needlessly rough usage. You must return the equipment to us in the same condition as delivered, ordinary wear and tear resulting from proper use thereof alone expected. All sets are delivered in accordance to their SKU details found on our website. YOU AGREE TO NOT USE ANY OF THESE CLUBS TO HIT OUT OF NON-PLAYING AREAS OR DESERT TERRAIN.
Damage to Clubs
The customer renting golf clubs from TGC agrees to pay for any damage to the clubs they are renting that is not considered normal wear and tear. Normal wear and tear to the clubs includes (but is not exclusive to) scratches on the bottom of the club head, tee marks on the club head, and grip wear. TGC reserves the right to reasonably determine what is beyond normal wear and tear of our rental clubs. All rental clubs are inspected by a TGC representative before and after each reservation, and these records are kept in our system. You are advised to inspect all clubs for damage once taken into your possession and to report any issues to a TGC representative immediately.
Upon return of the clubs the customer is responsible for reporting any loss or damage to the clubs. For all losses and/or damages beyond normal wear and tear, the amount charged to the customer’s credit card will be at the discretion of TGC and we will advise of these charges by email support. Failure to report loss or damage to the clubs may result in a service charge in addition to the loss and/or damages charge. The customer will not be charged for damages due to factory defects. Any clubs with suspected factory defects will be sent to the manufacturer for inspection before any charges are assessed to the customer.
TGC will not be responsible for non-accidental damage beyond normal wear and tear, loss due to theft, force of nature or loss due to fire. The customer agrees to indemnify and save harmless TGC from any claim. TGC will not be held responsible for any damage or bodily injury incurred upon anything or anyone by the rental clubs.
Damage Deposit Pre-Authorization
For all rentals, Travel Golf Center (TGC) reserves the right to place a temporary pre-authorization hold on your credit card. This hold may be for an amount up to the full retail value of the rented equipment. This is not a charge but a temporary hold to ensure funds are available in the event of loss or damage to the clubs. The pre-authorization will be released upon the safe return of the equipment in its original condition, minus normal wear and tear.
Late, Lost or Stolen Clubs
All rental clubs are to be returned by the date and time of the reservation confirmation statement and rental agreement. If clubs are not returned by the deadline on the rental agreement the customer will be charged one day’s rental for each day they are late. If the customer has not contacted TGC within 24 hours past the rental return deadline and TGC has not been able to contact the customer within this time, the customer will be charged the full replacement cost of the rental clubs. If a customer has reported clubs lost, stolen or lost due to fire the customer will be responsible for payment to TGC for the full replacement value of the clubs.
We reserve the right to determine whether your credit card is pre-authorized to accept a minimum charge equal to the current retail value of the product in case you fail to return or you damage a product.
Reservation Policy
To reserve your golf clubs, customers must complete all required fields in the customer information section on our website. A valid credit card is necessary to finalize your reservation, and payment information can be submitted through our secure online form or by phone with a TGC representative. Reservations may be booked up to 12 months in advance of the pick-up date.
Payment
To rent our golf equipment, you must provide complete, accurate, and current credit card information. By completing the checkout process, you authorize us to charge your card for the rental fees, applicable taxes, and any other incurred charges, such as delivery and handling fees. Your payment will be processed immediately upon checkout to secure your rental.
Substitutions
We reserve the right to substitute club(s) of equal or better quality than those requested by you.
Rental Period
The Rental Period is defined as that period of time, which shall be no less than one (1) day, for which you have reserved to rent golf equipment from us. The Rental Period shall commence in the morning on the day of your rental and shall terminate in the evening on that same day (unless your reservation is for multiple days, in which event, it shall terminate in the evening on the final day of your Rental Period). Please note there is no additional daily charge when clubs are rented after 5pm on the day prior to golf. Also, no additional daily charge when club are returned by 10am the day following golf.
Exchange Program
You can exchange your rental clubs for rental clubs of an equivalent value or greater value, by paying the additional cost, at anytime during your rental period subject to the same conditions as your current rental agreement and the availability of desired clubs. Additional delivery fees and substitution fees apply.
Extension of Rental Period
If you wish to extend the Rental Period at any time after 6:00 pm (local time) the day prior to the Rental Period, you may do so by call or text. Extensions are subject to the availability of your specific club set, meaning it cannot be extended if already reserved by another customer. We will provide pricing for the extension at the time of your inquiry.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations may be made at any time before the actual start of the rental period with the following terms: If more than 30 days notice is given, customers can receive a full refund (cancellation fee applies) or credit equivalent to the original amount charged for their reservation which they can use for future reservations for 1 full year from the cancellation date. If less than 30 days notice is given but greater than 48 hours, customers can receive a partial refund (cancellation fee applies) or credit equivalent to the original amount charged for their reservation which they can use for future reservations for 1 full year from the cancellation date. The amount of the cancellation fee is dependent on the lost opportunity cost involved and will be assessed at the time of cancellation by a TGC representative. Rental holders not giving 48 hours notice of rental cancellations will not be refunded. Cash refunds will not be given. Customers must call TGC with their cancellation Toll Free at 1-888-279-9284, text 702-755-7662 or email support@travelgolfcenter.com. Please note rain cheques are not offered.
Delivery and Pick-up of Clubs
Travel Golf Center operates as an online business, providing convenient club delivery to various zones across the Scottsdale and Phoenix area. To arrange a delivery, you must complete your order and confirm your delivery details online at least 24 hours before your rental period begins. When we deliver to a residential address, a customer must be present to receive the clubs. If you are not present, you are responsible for providing a front door or garage code to our delivery personnel so the clubs can be stored in a secured area. For safety and security, golf clubs will not be left in an outside or unsecured location.
For customers outside of our designated delivery zones, all club pick-ups and returns will be handled at our designated Scottsdale Meeting Place, located at 10757 N 74th Street, Scottsdale, AZ 85260. Please ensure you adhere to our business hours for all meetings.
A delivery and handling fee will be added to all orders that include a delivery or pick-up service. Any late return fees will be subject to applicable state and city taxes.
Promotion Codes
TGC will from time to time offer promotion codes to individuals, groups of individuals and companies which the customer can enter on the TGC website upon checkout.
Liability
In no event shall TGC be liable to you for any amount exceeding the rental fee.
Customer Confidentiality
To reserve clubs, customers must first enter information consisting of personal information such as name, address, home phone number, contact number while at your destination and email. Customer’s personal information is held in a secure database and is not distributed or sold to any third party. Customer credit card information is entered into a secure protected site when paying for an actual rental or rental package processed through PayPal.
